About Hydrotherapy Brisbane

Our Story & Team

For more than 35 years, Hydrotherapy Brisbane has helped people of all ages and abilities move, recover and thrive in the water. The clinic was founded by physiotherapists Julie Harrison and Judy Larsen, whose decades of clinical experience and respected work in hydrotherapy education shaped the standard of care the clinic became known for. From children to older adults, and across facilities including the Wesley Hospital, St Andrew’s Hospital and Sinnamon Park, that work built a genuine reputation for expertise in aquatic therapy.

In early 2026, Hydrotherapy Brisbane entered a new chapter under the ownership of Dr Hamidreza Mozayeni. Hamid brings extensive leadership experience and a strong engineering background, including the design and operation of pool and water systems, along with a clear commitment to building on the clinic’s foundations. Under his guidance, the clinic is investing in its people, its facilities and its future, while holding firmly to the values of care and clinical excellence that have always defined it.

Day to day, your care is delivered by our team of qualified physiotherapists and aquatic therapists, who bring warmth, skill and a real commitment to helping you reach your goals in the water.
